When security measure is manually constructed and the process start from “Analysis Configuration” until “Start monitoring and auditing”, it will increase the required man-hours, various kind of costs, and ultimately becomes a burden for the IT administrator.

To solve these problems, Justi provides functions which creates a smooth way to minimize the time for analysis of the present configuration in order to start monitoring and auditing.

In addition, Justi provides an easy and simple way for its operation by using Web browser or GUI screen. IT administrators can operate the system security without any specific knowledge of IBM Power Systems (System i,AS/400).

Justi functions corresponds to the “Analysis”, “Planning”, “Operation” and
“Verification & Improvement” cycle, Justi is loaded with the virus checker function to inform the IT administrator instantly of any virus infection.

Justi offers 2 types of service which is ①Remote Service and ②Local Service:

Remote Service is one of the Justi service provided by Bitis Data Center. It collects, accumulates, analyzes and monitors the customers’ journal (log data) via internet.

1. The journal data will be transferred via internet VPN ( a one-way route) to the machine (Justi service environment) at Bitis Data Center.
   
2. Justi will accumulate, analyze and monitor the log data at the Data Center.
   
3. The IT administrator conducts the monitoring and confirms the result of virus check on the browser via internet. You can also downlaod various kind of reports and FTPs.
   
4. Acquire new PTF from Bitis Data Center in order to apply to the monitoring server.
   

【Merit of Remote Service】
It is not necessary to keep the journal data inside the customer machines; therefore it will not compress the system resources such as important disk of the customer machines, less installation work, less cost, maintenance fee and so on.

Compared to Remote Service, Local Service will collect, accumulate, analyze and monitor log data at the customer inhouse system environment. Simultaneously, you can acquire PTF, technical support and information from Bitis Data Center.

1. Justi can be downloaded via Internet from Bitis Data Center.
   We also provide PTF infomation and Technical Support.
   
2. Transfer and install Justi to the customer's POWER SYSTEMS of the customer (Target Monitoring Server).
   
3. Justi functions are utilized at the customer’s Power Systems.
   Log Data is transferred in real time in the PC server, and the browser of client PC also provides download of various reports.
   ※ The client PC and the PC server can be the same machine.

【Merit of Local Service】
Justi service is only functioning in the local environment of the customer system i platform. Bitis Data Center provides various kinds of supports and PTF information via internet browser.
